The club is active in the community with various sailing programs, including the Airlie Beach Race Week and the Whitsunday Sail Airlie Easter Regatta. Members and visitors can also enjoy sailing courses and marine training provided by the club's certified training center.

The club provides limited 12 and 18-metre marina berths and swing moorings at Pioneer Bay, available for short or long-term lease to members.
