The Christchurch Club
About The Christchurch Club
After 160 years since its establishment, 149 years of continuous occupation at 154 Worcester Street and now 5 years of post-earthquake absence, we are delighted to be able to resume occupation and use of a much enhanced, repaired and replaced Clubhouse.
The damage caused by the Canterbury earthquakes created the opportunity to redesign and rebuild the Clubhouse to meet the needs of members for the next 160 years.
Club status
The club is open.
The club is accepting reciprocal visits.

Facilities
Dress code
A tidy standard of dress, preferably business style attire is expected within the Clubhouse. The preferred minimum Monday to Friday standard attire for men is defined as a jacket, chinos/dark dress denim trousers, and a button-fronted long sleeved shirt. The wearing of jackets may be relaxed in hot weather. A comparable standard for women does not require a jacket to be worn. House guests may dress other than indicated above, when going directly to and from the bedroom accommodation. A generally higher standard of dress is expected after 7.00 pm, (to include a tie), but conversely a more relaxed standard of dress is accepted throughout the Clubhouse at weekends.
