Established in 1948, the club initially began as a local sailing club and evolved into a key player in the Australian sailing scene. SSCBC is home to Australia’s largest fleet of Couta Boats and hosts regular races from November to June. The club’s modern clubhouse offers panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay and provides members and guests with dining and event facilities. The club has successfully hosted numerous national and international regattas, reinforcing its reputation as a premier sailing venue.
