The Royal Temple Yacht Club, established by yachtsmen sailing from the Temple Steps on the River Thames, now resides in Ramsgate, Kent. With its winter opening hours tailored for members and visitors, the club promotes a full calendar of racing and cruising from April to October. The clubhouse, known for its spectacular views over the harbour and the Goodwin Sands, serves as a community hub, offering training, accommodation, and a range of social events.

Sailing
Sailing is at the core of the Royal Temple Yacht Club's activities, hosting races every weekend from March through October, alongside a midweek evening series during the summer months. The club’s competitive racing fleet enjoys a variety of challenging courses in the sheltered waters of the Downs, under both IRC and a Temple handicap system. It also serves as the venue for the International Ramsgate Week Regatta, among other prestigious racing and championship events.
