About Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron
The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron can trace it's history back to 1837 when garrisoned British Army officers and Royal Navy came to create the Halifax Yacht Club. It's one of seven Royal Yacht Squadrons worldwide.
The clubhouse has superb facilities and can be found on the shores of Halifax's Northwest Arm. The club co-hosts the Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race with the Boston Yacht Club, due to start in June 2023.
Mooring
The club has moorings accessible though Halifax Harbour.
Sailing
The club has an active racing calendar and a summer cruise. There's also a sailing school for juniors and adults
