The Royal Northumberland Yacht Club was formed in 1890 and is located in Blyth Harbour
The clubhouse is HY Tyne III, a Trinity House Light Vessel (LV50) - making it rather unique. There's a virtual tour here.
The club has a bar that serves some food, but contact the club if you need anything substantial. There are also shower facilities on board.
Social
The club has an active social calendar all year round, with sell-out music nights and regular speakers.
Sailing
The club has a full sailing calendar for racing and for cruising. It's is also an RYA Training Centre.
Moorings
The club extends a warm welcome to all reciprocal visitors and has moorings. On approach, please call Blyth Harbour on VHF Ch 12
