The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron is the premier yacht club in New Zealand, founded in 1871. The club’s mission is to promote sailing, yachting and power boating in all its forms.

The club is based at the world-renowned Westhaven Marina in Auckland, New Zealand. The club has a variety of amenities, such as a full-service yacht workshop, training centre, a restaurant and bar, shower and laundry facilities, a marina shop, and a large selection of boats.

The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as sailing regattas and cruises, and Marina Boat Show. The club is also the current home of the America’s Cup, which was held in Auckland in 2021 and they will be defending it in 2024.
