About Royal Lymington Yacht Club

The Royal Lymington Yacht Club has just celebrated it's centenary and is one of the most well-established yacht clubs in the world. The club's history is being painstakingly pieced back together as most of their records were damaged in the floods of 1989. There are some fascinating extracts here. 

The Lymington based clubhouse has a very popular bar and restaurant serving the finest food with fresh locally-sourced ingredients.

Social

The club has active bridge, art, photography, flower-arranging, cycling, walking and cruising groups as well as supporting themed dinners and other commemorative celebrations. 

Sailing

The club supports a wide range of sailing activities - yachting, motor-boating, dinghy racing, paddle-boarding and much more with a thriving events programme. The club is also a RYA training provider.
