The Royal Dutch Sailing and Rowing Association, established in 1847, is the Netherlands' oldest watersports club. Located in Muiden with an additional marina in Enkhuizen, the club has a long tradition of promoting sailing and rowing. It played a key role in founding the Royal Netherlands Watersport Association and the Royal Dutch Rowing Federation. The KNZ&RV offers extensive facilities, including a marina, gym, boardroom, bar, restaurant, and social club. The club organizes numerous sailing races and rowing events, continuing a legacy that began in the 19th century. Members benefit from a strong community and excellent support for their water-based activities.The Royal has two marinas. One in Muiden, and one in Enkhuizen. Both ports have superb facilities for members and visitors alike.
Sailing
The club is very active in sailing and supports sailing for the disabled, having won Silver at the 2004 Paralympics in the Sonar class. There's also an active cruising club.
Rowing
The club is also a seeding ground for international rowing - the R in "Royal" stands for rowing as well.

The KNZ&RV provides an exclusive social environment with facilities like a members-only social club, bar, and restaurant.
