Formed in the 1930s, the Royal Air Force Yacht Club now has premises on the River Hamble, handy for the Isle of Wight and beyond to the Channel Islands and France.
Though it has a proud military heritage, it warmly welcomes visitors from all walks of life.
The club has a bar and a restaurant and many other facilities, and enjoys a secluded space, only 5 minutes walk from Hamble village.
Mooring
The club has three short term berths available to visitors. There are maintenance berths, mid-stream and walk-ashore moorings too.
Sailing
The club has a full rallies calendar that forms the social and sailing fabric of the club.
Accommodation
The club has three rooms available for guests. These are room-only but there are plenty of breakfast and food options minutes away in the village.
