Manhattan Yacht Club

Manhattan Yacht Club (MYC) reintroduced recreational sailing to New York Harbor in 1987 after a 60-year hiatus. Originally located at South Street Seaport, the club has grown significantly and now operates from Liberty Harbor Marina in Jersey City. MYC is known for its unique floating clubhouse, the Honorable William Wall, anchored in New York Harbor, which serves as a social and event space from May through October. The club’s fleet includes J/24 sailboats and a flagship schooner, *Arabella*. MYC hosts a variety of sailing programs, including the renowned Lady Liberty Regatta and the 12 Meter Heritage Regatta, catering to both novice and experienced sailors. The club’s history reflects resilience and innovation, continually expanding its offerings and fostering a strong community of sailors.

Social facilities
