Little Ship Club
About Little Ship Club
The Little Ship Club was formed in 1926 when 27 enthusiasts decided that during the winter months, then the dead season, many keen sailing people would be glad of an opportunity to get together and swap yarns.
So rather unusually, the club does not maintain moorings or marinas but that does not stop it having an extensive cruising and rallying programme.
The modern clubhouse sits on Three Cranes Walk, with a spectacular view of the Thames and is within spitting distance of Southwark Bridge in the City of London.
Social
The club has a very active social calendar with regular Tuesday evening club nights. It offers an a la carte lunchtime menu. and it had a library and several rooms for meetings.
Training
The club has a proud history of training and maintains a range of onshore RYA courses and their own customised courses. These are rather interesting and include boat electrics, ropework, practical weather for boaters and astro-navigation.
Accommodation
The club has 6 cabin style rooms, making a stay in London affordable to members and reciprocal guests alike.
