About Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club
The Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club was founded in 1859. The club has held sailing fixtures at Cantley, Wroxham, and Oulton Broad since its inception. In 1884, the members formed a company to fund the building of a clubhouse (Grade II listed) in Lowestoft, which was completed in 1886.
The club very active, with members sailing and racing on the Broads, while also preserving its traditions.
Social
The club has a full social events programme supported by excellent dining facilities.
Sailing
There's a full racing programme and the club offers cruising along the Suffolk coast, but also inland in the Norfolk Broads. The club is also an RYA training provider.
Moorings and marinas
The club has a marina with pontoon berths for members and visitors.
